Founder's Statement

"If we hope to transcend those who judge and hurt the people they've never met, we must attempt to interpret why they hate so we can prevent it from taking hold of future generations."

Free Radicals Project (FRP) is a global extremism prevention and education network. We help people, organizations, communities, and institutions in addressing violence-based extremism. Our process focuses on building knowledge and understanding of how extremists groups operate, recruit, and grow, to counter and disrupt them.

FRP volunteer staff have decades of personal and professional experience in multiple forms of violence-based extremism, working alongside radicalized individuals and amongst radicalized groups around the world. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Christian Picciolini founded Free Radicals Project in 2018. A world-renowned leader in the field of extremism prevention and disengagement, Christian trains private sector, government, and law enforcement agencies throughout the world in the most effective approaches to preventing and counteracting hate-based movements. He also helped launch "exit" and de-radicalization programs in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Slovakia.
